Subscription Terms
Group standard terms for paid plans — billing, renewal, price changes and cancellation. Products inherit these unless they publish their own.
This is version 1.0, archived on 26 July 2026. It is kept for reference and is not the current document — read the current version.

Plans and fees
The plan you choose, its price, its billing period and what it includes are shown at the point of purchase and in your account. Prices are in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise and are exclusive of VAT, which is added where applicable at the prevailing rate.
Billing and renewal
You are billed in advance and renewed automatically. We remind you before annual renewals, and you can turn renewal off yourself at any time.
Subscriptions are billed in advance for each billing period and renew automatically at the end of it until cancelled. We take payment using the method on your account on the renewal date.
For an annual plan we will remind you at least 14 days before it renews, telling you the amount and the date. You can turn off renewal at any time in your account.
If a payment fails we will retry and let you know. If it remains unpaid after 14 days we may suspend the account; we will not delete your data during that period.
Price changes
We may change our prices. For an existing subscription, a price increase takes effect only at the next renewal and only if we have given you at least 30 days’ notice by email. If you do not accept it, cancel before the renewal date and you will not be charged the new price.
Upgrades and downgrades
Upgrading takes effect immediately and we charge the difference for the rest of the current period. Downgrading takes effect at the next renewal, so you keep what you have paid for.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops the next renewal; the subscription continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Free trials
Where we offer a trial, we tell you its length and what happens at the end before you start it. If a trial converts to a paid plan, we say so clearly at sign-up and remind you before the first charge. You can cancel during a trial without being charged.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, if we are required to by law, or if your account presents a security risk to the service or to other customers. Except where the breach is serious or we are legally obliged to act immediately, we will tell you first and give you a reasonable opportunity to put it right.
On termination we stop providing the service and delete or anonymise your personal data in line with our retention schedule, except where we are required to keep records — for example accounting records, which UK law requires us to keep for six years. You can export your data before you close your account, and we will help you do so on request for 30 days afterwards.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Every version we publish is numbered and dated, and the change log at the bottom of this page records what changed and when.
For a change that materially affects your rights or obligations, we give at least 30 days’ notice before it takes effect, by email to the address on your account or by a notice in the service. For a clarification, a correction, or a change required by law, we may publish the new version immediately.
If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel before it takes effect and we will refund any prepaid fees covering the period after cancellation. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the new version.
